Original die cast hoops and tension rods. All shells are true round with original factory bearing edges. All toms have original dampers bar one off the floor tom. All drums have the orange serial number stickers in place with the bass drum one a little ragged.Serial numbers all match closely to match it as a drum kit at time of sale.Chrome excellent condition for era. Original floor tom legs. Original double tom holder. Original spurs.The bass drum hoops are 100 % original Gretsch (with correct bearing edges) They came directly from a Gretsch rosewood kit i had a couple of years back of the same era. When i bought this kit it had metal hoops (whicjh it would not have had originally) so as the rosewood kit had an unoriginal tom holder /spurs/floortom legs i decided to swap them over. It was a bit strange to sand off the lovely rosewood varnish but if you don't know, all the hoops are the same wood with different tints and varnish on them. I finished the hoops with a walnut dye and matt lacquer but you may wish to easily re varnish with a gloss varnish to match the original. All drums tune easily. Please note i have had the odd dodgy gretsch drum in the past and worth looking out when buying for re- cut edges, out of shape rims. Pick up London (east dulwich) or Brighton (hove actually ) After 40 happy years drumming Im selling up as I have not picked my sticks up for a year and going abroad for a while - hopefully not the end just a vacation ! pick up within 5 days or relisted . i can pack securely if you want to send a courier but all within ebay rules in terms of protection i.e. cash if picking up . in all cases we have to speak prior or assume it is a cash and pick up only . Drums in brighton but can be taken to east dulwich london .
