A very nice 1947 Epiphone Blackstone Archtop Acoustic guitar. The neck feels and plays great, the action is low without buzz, and chords do what they do best on an archtop. That means it can really project when played in that chank chank four to the bar style ala Freddie Green. It also means, that the individual notes of complex chords seem to stand out from low to high in a balanced manner, when you let a chord ring. See pictures, as the guitar is in great condition for it's age. It's age is seventy, it looks great for seventy years old! The guitar has what looks to be a professionally repaired crack, lots of finish checking ( I'm almost certain it was refinished at some point), non original tuners, and most likely a replacement tortoiseshell pickguard. Comes with a nice hardshell molded case.
