You're looking at a 2012 Gibson Les Paul 1957 Historic, with a rare Black VOS finish and nickel hardware. If you’re looking for a player, that you can really tear into, this is one. The action is fast and smooth, and she sounds like a great Les Paul should! The original brown back plates have been replaced with a set of black back plates (which looks much better IMHO), but the original back plates are also included. She's otherwise all original, and I just put on a fresh new set of 10-46’s, so she’s all dressed up and ready to rock your world!  Here's the lowdown on the features: Les Paul 1957 HistoricBlack VOS Finish Carved Maple Top Mahogany Body Single-ply Cream Binding on the Top Mahogany NeckHistoric Long Neck Tenon50's Rounded Neck Profile 22 Fret Rosewood Fretboard Pearloid Trapezoid Fret Inlays Nickel Hardware ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic Bridge with Light-weight Aluminum Tailpiece Gibson Deluxe Vintage Style Tuners Dual Gibson Burst Bucker Pickups 3-Way Toggle Pickup Selector 2 Volume & 2 Tone Controls CTS Pots & Bumble Bee Caps She Weighs 8.8 lbs.  Serial # 7 2702 She was born in 2012 and has been thoroughly played. If you are looking for a closet queen, in perfect condition that you can hang in a glass case, you may want to move on to the next one… as this would not be for you. However, if you’re looking for a monster player with that perfect vintage LP tone, this is the one. There are nicks, dings, scratches and finish wear throughout. Frankly, I like the play-wear, as it really gives the guitar a true vintage vibe… and the nice thing is; you can play your heart out without having to worry about putting a ding on it! It’s a very cool axe regardless of the flaws. The neck is straight, with no cracks or repairs… the frets are excellent, with plenty of life ahead of them… and she sounds like a great R7 should! Also included is the original Lifton Gibson Custom Shop hard shell case, and even includes the original back plates and certificate of authenticity, just as shown in the last picture! Whoever brings this baby home is gonna be completely STOKED!!
