Ultra rare, Egmond made Rosetti Solid 7 from the late 50s/early 60s. As used by Paul McCartney on the Beatles first Hamburg trip and afterwards. Several photos exist showing Macca with this type of guitar in various states of disrepair. I can find no records anywhere online of another of these coming up at auction or being offered for sale. Without doubt one for the beatles collector as the playability is rather poor compared to a modern budget guitar. Nut cracked below G string but replaced as shown in photo. New set of Ernie Ball 9s fitted. Original scratchplate/pickup covers missing. One pickup left which is functional but not wired at present(see video). The neck has a forward bow which may straighten when a decent set of flat wound string are put on. The frets have cleaned up beautifully and should be good for years to come. Small amount of b string wear on lower frets. Now comes with the Hofner pickup in the photo, very similar to Maccas version.
