1974 Vintage Black Fender Telecaster Custom. Keith Richards. If you’re looking for the Keith Richards vibe and/or a real cool vintage instrument ready to take from your front door to the stage or studio, this is it. The guitar plays perfectly, but a few parts needed to be swapped out to get there. Please read the description carefully! The tuners, saddles and bridge pickup have been replaced. The original parts are included and packed in the case. The frets have been expertly replaced here in Nashville and have a full life left. Please note: the tuners are vintage-correct Klusons and look identical to the originals, but required some minor routing to install. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan BG-1400. Much thought was put into this decision, as it needed to be a good match with original wide-range humbucker. We landed on this after auditioning a few and it’s totally great. The guitar is in overall excellent condition for a vintage instrument. The area just above the nut shows some string wear and there is some worn off finish around the 2nd and 3rd frets that does not affect feel or playability. Guitar ships in original case, also in excellent condition. It’s a really outstanding instrument that’s just not getting played enough right now and I’m absolutely sure you’ll be thrilled with it.
