Vintage Early 60's BDP 5x14 Rogers Powertone Serial # 2339 This 5x14 Powertone is 100% original with the exception of the heads and the internal tone control. The replacement is from a late 60's Powertone. No extra holes etc. The original BDP wrap is in flawless condition; no scratches, scuffs etc. The throw-off and butt plate are in fantastic shape, and operate perfectly. Top and bottom hoops are in round and shining like new! The shell, and bearing edges are in perfect condition. There appears to be some type of trademark stamped into the top reinforcement hoop as shown in the second to last photo. If any of the Rogers experts out there know what this is, please let me know!! The lugs are of the "bread & butter" variety, and due to a design flaw are prone to crack. 6 out of the 8 lugs have hairline cracks. This will make a great addition to ANY Rogers collection!! Sold as is
