Here's an AMAZING early Heckel bassoon. WOW! This instrument is awesome. Heckel makes the finest bassoons int he world and has since their inception. This instrument us a great horn. We have dated it to before 1877 as there is no serial number apparent on it (serial numbers were not added before 1877) however it appears to have been very well maintained and is ready to play. There are no active cracks. There are some possible repaired cracks, but they were done by a repairman of the highest skill. This will be a GREAT bassoon for baroque or historically accurate romantic performance. Includes a custom Leslie Ross bocal. Pics tell the rest of the story!
