Description Brand: Danelectro
Vintage 1960’s Danelectro guitar / bass double-neck model 3923, Copperburst, with matching amp! 1960 1961 1962 1963 Original 6/4 Dano Double-neck (6-string guitar on one neck, 4-string bass on the other) c. 1959 to 1963 and in real nice condition, from the original clear plexi pickguards to the cool “pointer" knobs to the chromed twin “lipstick” pickups and matching chromed rosewood double bridges. Certainly has some wear and dings (look at the photos) but it’s 100% original with no mods, issues, or repairs ever. Plays swell, and comes in a clean vintage and super-rugged black late ‘60s Fender case with red lining, way better than the original chipboard case, which fell apart long ago. And dig this: to complete the set, the guitar comes with a rare late ‘50s Danelectro amp with cool “clover-leaf” front. The amp is in excellent condition. Plus (other than the restored original handle) it’s completely unmolested and all original. Not sure which amp model this is, but I know they didn't make many in this light tan finish. In fact, I’ve only ever seen one other. Has original 12" Rola speaker, original power cord, chassis, tubes, and more. Be tough to find a nicer one, or another one at all. And incredibly, it’s as near as can be to the day it left the factory. For one low price you get the Danelectro 3923 Double-neck guitar/bass, the rare Dano amp, plus two original early 60’s Danelectro one-page flyers, both featuring this very 3923 double-neck model, plus a genuine vintage set of Danelectro bass strings, still in their original envelopes! $2,500 obo
