Another unique project from my upcoming book "Tube Guitar Amplifiers"This handwired (point-to-point) head uses two 12FQ8 duo-triodes in preamp stages and 6V6 and EL84 in two power stages.One input, Gain, Tone and two master Volume controls, one for each channel. You can use each output stage (channel) on its own, or blend them in any proportion. EL84 (Noval) channel sounds brighter and more aggressive, the 6V6 (Octal) channel is smoother, warmer and creamier. And their blend? Well, you be the judge ...Mains input, speaker output jack at the back, together with the Triode-Pentode switch and a line output/headphones jack.No hum or hiss, choke filtered power supply, absolutely quiet, perfect for studio recording! Works on 240Vac mains voltage! Vintage USA made preamp and power tubes are included.My photos don't do this work-of-art justice, it looks much more impressive in real life ... a true masterpiece, only one ever made ...
