We're very pleased to welcome another vintage Ludwig set! This particular drum kit comes from the early 1980's somewhere between 1980 and 1984 based on the badge. It's a big set up, similar set up and identical finish to the kit Roger Taylor from Queen was using in between '84 and '85. This kit would be perfect for a queen tribute band or any one looking to emulate that iconic Queen drum sound!The drums are the 6 ply Maple shell introduced in the late 70's and have the clear interiors. Roger also played a slightly larger version of the Chrome kit in the early 80's with a 26" Bass Drum and also returned to using a variety of set ups with the Chrome kit including a double bass drum configuration for 'The Miracle' record and associated music videos between '88 & '89. Whilst Roger has used a variety of brands and colours over the years, the Chrome Kit is certainly one of his most iconic looking and memorable kits from the Queen 1980 - 1990 period and featured heavily in much of their live, documentary and music videos.
