TOP RARE gorgeous& unusual ORIGINAL PJA WAPPEN MANDOLA
(big 8string mandolin) Made of all solid tonewoods in Germany around the 1920s/1930sThe mandola is in excellent condition due to time, without damages and fully playable
-about 78cm total length, scale lenght about 43cm - solid arched bookmatched quality spruce top with catseye openings, with multiple black-white celluloide purfling/binding, also around the soundholes
- solid gorgeous tigerflamed shield-shaped thin maple body, with arched back, lower bout 33,2cm, center bout 25cm, uper bout 27cm, sides height 6cm-6,5cm
- totally straight maple neck (V-shape) with shafted on unique headstock
quality rosewood fingerboard with slight radius, earl dot inlays in the side, 21 frets + zerofret, original ebony nut, width at nut: 34mm

stickers inside: Original PJA (in old German letters) and " Musik Jerusalem, Aachen (retailer)
Original condition !
The mandola is fully playable with excellent 2,5mm string action (E1 on 12th fret). Except a little dent below the right catseye hole, the varnish is in very good condition due to time, too
with new strings on G D and A
