This beautiful Dean guitar is a prototype of anniversary 2002 ML Blueburst Dean guitar series. It was made in 2001 and was displayed on 2001 NAMM guitar show for Dean Zelinsky's comeback. The highest level of collectible value. A true masterpiece for a true Dean guitar fan as it has Dean Zelinsky's signature on the headstock! Per Elliot Rubinson, the current CEO of Dean, they made 10 prototypes for NAMM in 10 different colors. This is the only Blueburst from that batch.
The guitar is 100% mint condition; it was kept in a private collection for a long time. No fret wear, no dings, no cracks or repairs. The pickup selector will sometimes not stick when you go to the neck position but that did not bother me because I would rarely use that pickup. Otherwise, It`s a brand new guitar, with just a few barely noticeable light scratches and this includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
