Description
Here's a gorgeous example of our all time favorite guitar, the "Beatlebacker". This is a model 325 Rose Morris issue (exported to England to the Rose Morris Distributors), and it's the model that Rickenbacker gave to John Lennon to play for the 1964 Christmas Concert series while his black 325 was being repaired. This features the famous "2-O'Clock" F-Hole configuration like Lennon's, rather than the common 1-O'Clock found on most of the vintage reissue model "1996" guitars (issued in 2006).This has been very well taken care of for 30 years, NO fret wear, and only a couple of "flea bites" to be found....No edge wear, no finish problems, no damage......LASER straight neck, freshly polished frets and fingerboard, Beautiful "Amber Fireglo" finish (not as "loud" a red as the reissues....vintage finish). Doc Marino has set this up personally to play extremely easy from the nut to the octave and above...FUN player, not just a looker. Killer Ric tones, the most smooth vibrato on the planet (Ric "Accent"), flawless chrome, and a vintage style bridge as well....this one was custom ordered with Schaller tuners, which are a bit smoother than Klusons.Comes with the original hardshell case, the unopened vintage polishing cloth and tools, and the warranty card......A true Closet Queen! We scour the earth for the best examples of this guitar, and this one is a prime example. Feel free to make a serious offer, and we'll listen. Paypal, ONE DAY HANDLING and fast shipping..... $50. flat rate to the 48 States only. These genuine vintage Beatlebackers show up once in a blue moon.......get it or 'forget about it'.....! Be safe out there.
