I PUT AGAIN ON EBAY THE VIOLIN, THE BUYER HAS NOT PAID ..! :-(Violin Antonio Mariani Da Pesaro about 1650, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Florian Leonhard (certificate of Jan. 10, 2013), currently the leading expert of ancient stringed instruments of the Marche having just published a book: The makers of central Italy.
The violin has been restored and is in perfect condition, has never had a soundpost crack in the back or in the soundboard! The sound is indescribable warmth and quality, inside there is the original handwritten signature of Antonio Mariani From Pesaro with a date to be interpreted, in red ink, very faint, I highlighted a contrast of colors artificial with fotoshop, but you can do better (photo 12), the presence of the handwritten signature inside indicates that the shims have never been touched!
The length of the body is 35.35 cm.

Il suono è di un calore e una qualità indescrivibile, all'interno della cassa, sul fondo, vi è la la firma manoscritta di Antonio Mariani Da Pesaro con una data da interpretare, l'inchiostro rosso, molto flebile, l'ho evidenziato con un contrasto artificiale di colori con fotoshop, ma si può fare di meglio (foto 12), la presenza della firma manoscritta sul fondo indica inoltre che gli spessori originali non sono mai stati ritoccati! La lunghezza della cassa è di 35,35 cm.
