This is a VERY NICE Mount Vernon Bach Stradivarius Cornet. WOW! Very few of these extraordinary instruments were made at the Mount Vernon factory and these are generally considered the best Bach cornets ever built. So many that I see have been relacquered. Often the leadpipe has been replaced by an overzealous repairman or the horn might even have been silverplated. This horn is all original and in good condition. It is a medium (M .453) bore instrument. The bell is not marked but I'd guess it is a 37 bell. Original lacquer is about 85% present with minor wear and blemishes. There are a few minor dents (see pics). Valves (see pic) are excellent and show very little wear. If you've always wanted a Mount Vernon Bach grab this one-you might never see a better one!!
