Up for sale is a 1999 Gretsch 6118. The serial number and placement makes this guitar a "Pre-Fender" guitar built in 1999 in Japan before production was moved to Korea. This was the modern heyday for Gretsch before Fender gained control. This guitar is in great condition. There are two small scratches that cannot be buffed out. The pickups, knobs, and pickup selectors have some corrosion (see pictures). Other than that this guitar has no flaws. It plays perfectly and it looks brand new.
