Selling a very rare Jackson Randy Rhoads signature RR5 V with a Jackson fitted hard case. I'm not completely sure of the year but the series was released in 2003. This guitar is quite rare it you do the research, the white version is fairly common but this is the only black with gold stripes that I have ever seen. Apparently this was a very limited run. It is in good condition but has chips on the back side of the wing tips and the tip of the headstock. The chips are through the paint but no wood was broken off.
The bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan Black Winter which sounds awesome and I believe the neck is still the stock Seymour Duncan Jazz. The action is nice and low and it plays amazing. The gold hardware has rub/faded spots but nothing too bad. The case may or may not be the original that came with it but it is a Jackson fitted flying v hard case in good condition. Please see all the pics and feel free to ask any questions before bidding. Sorry no international bidders please. Thanks
As I have mentioned already this is a very rare guitar that plays and sounds amazing and I would definitely not be getting rid of it BUT... my mother has cancer and all conventional modern medical treatments have failed. The doctors have sent her home and given her less than 3 months to live, we are now seeking alternative homeopathic treatments but medical insurance does not cover these treatments and they are expensive so I am selling my prized guitars to help pay for it....I can always buy another guitar but I can't buy back my mother's life once she's gone.
