We are glad to offer this beautiful 1852-1854 sterling silver flute by Rudall, Rose & Carte.Please note: As we are not experts we will try to describe it simply and mostly from visual observations. We hope that the buyer can rely on the photos and desciption, markings and dimensions.Features: This flute features beautiful engraved flowers around the lip plate and comes in its original case with cleaning rod.Markings: Council & prize medals. Rudall, Rose & Carte Patentees, 100 New Bond St., London, Boehm's Parabola, Carte's Mechanism.Dimensions: Total lenght: 67 cmEmbouchure: 1,3 cm wide, 1,1 cm highDiameter: 7,5 cmWall thickness: .035Condition: This flute has had some restorations, weldings to the lip plate portion and to a few other places seen on pictures.
