This is a pre-owned Gibson Collector’s Choice #5 aka Donna Burst! The replica of the 1959 Les Paul #9-1923 (aka "Donna") was well worth the wait when it was released in 2015. Donna's very unique top was years in the finding, causing a delay of nearly half a decade as qualifying wood was identified and set aside. Gibson was so concerned with getting the selection of top woods right that Tom Wittrock, "Donna's" current owner, was brought in for final approval of each and every one.The double carved Maple top is mated to the Mahogany back with hide glue for a tone and sustain that has to be heard to be believed. The Mahogany neck is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard that features hand-rolled binding to get this guitar as close to original specifications as possible. This guitar is in overall excellent condition with no major wear to it, and the original case with certificate of authenticity included!Questions? We're here to help!
