Baroque oboe pitched at 440. boxwood with ivory rings. the makers mark is shown in two of the photos. I have not been able to identify the maker. nobody I  have contacted recognizes the maker. Therefore, I cannot say whether this is an original instrument from the period or a copy. I think it is a copy. there is no case for this oboe.
