VOX RESTORATION HISTORYThis particular amp was made in England. The Serial number indicates it was built in 1993.  This amp has benefited from its manufacture during the Korg restoration period. This was the period when Korg purchased VOX from Rose Morris who had used cheap components and speakers to save the company from bankrupcy. Korg restored components to a high level, even better than VOX's Jennings Musical Industries days. Among other things, Korg brought back the GZ34 rectifier valve which had previously been dumped as a cost cutting measure. The amps were refitted with the legendary Blue Bulldog Celestion speakers. Korg had the VOX amplifiers manufactured in the English Marshall amp factory under contract. Used professionally, it has been fitted with castors. The amp has a couple of minor vinyl tears on the bottom, near the front right hand castor. There is also a tiny tear in the vinyl, left of the VOX logo. These are plainly seen in the pictures. The grill cloth has no tears or marks. This amp plays and sounds as it should. It is very reliable and there in no excessive humming or any other faults. The blue Alnico Celestions are in excellent condition and give you that glassy class A shimmer that this amp is famous for. It would suit a pro, or someone who wants an authentic AC30 TB fitted with high quality components, made in Great Britain.   Local pick up or TNT courier
