Suprem Echo SES 63
Analogue Delay Unit Dating from the late 1970's - early 1980’s, this SES 63 unit has been rigorously tested in studio conditions, and is working correctly. Controls and features The unit’s controls are as follows: Inputs 1,2 – 1-10 Effect Intensity - 1-10 Repeat – 1-10 Time - 1-10 Chorus - 1-10 Effect Output sockets for channels A & B Mix Out sockets for channels A & B Remote Control pedal option/input Power Switch Power on LED Overload LED Cosmetics The unit is in decent condition considering its age. Not too many marks to the face of the unit. marks to the top of the unit, from previous housing space. See Photos for condition Further info This is a very "musical" unit, lovely and rounded tone. The build quality of this unit is outstanding, both inside and out.Something that i really like about his unit is that it has 2 channels.Usually, it seems BBD units from this era are either mono units, or have 2 inputs, but only one combined output.I really like the options available with having either mixed output, or effect only outputs for EACH channel.I also like the Chorus feature, which allows for more creativity when it comes to creating the kind of sound-scape and movement that you want.Is nice to be able to add a little bit extra "something" to the signal. Analogue delay units offer a different sonic signature to digital delays. Bucket Brigade Delay units, use of a series of capacitors to create their delayed and repeated signals, which allow for a lovely warm and more rounded tone, when compared to their digital counterparts. This can offer up a totally different option during recording, mixing or live performance, than a digital delay, which may be too crisp, clean or sharp in certain situations. The unit doesn't have rack ears, but does have very nice and sturdy rubber feet. No vibrating or rattling around from this unit! So there we have it. A unit very nice unit, with a good set of controls and routing options. A little about what and how I sell items:I’ve been selling odd and rare vintage audio equipment on ebay for over 10 years now, with no issues or bad feedback. So you can buy with confidence, from an experienced seller with 100% positive feedback and many happy buyers.I sell to many of the recording industry’s top, well known professionals and recording studios around the world… from Cenzo Townshend to Alex Kapranos, Shane Stoneback to Olivier Chastan, Moles Studios to Beech Creek Studios....I ship items worldwide, and have experience in shipping to pretty much every destination at this point…. So I can offer any advice if buyers have any queries. All items are well packed, insured, and fully tracked.I take great care in making sure items work as they should, and describe things as accurately as possible. If any item’s description states that it has had any modifications, repairs or services carried out on it, then they genuinely have had that work carried out! (Unlike some sellers that think replacing a plug constitutes a “service”)All work is carried out by the very best specialists from across Europe, in whatever area the item may be from – Outboard – Ribbon microphones – Tube Microphone etcNo corners are cut, or expense spared.
