Blanton single 10 string pedal steel, 4 knees, 4 pedals, Emmons setup.  Onboard effects!!  Installed are a reissue MXR script Phase 90 and an original vintage 1979 MXR Distortion +.  The guitar plays easy and stays in tune.  If you've never seen a Blanton, or played a Blanton, they are great guitars with a great design.  Built by Jerry Blanton in San Antonio, Texas in the late 60's and 70's, they feature a pull system unlike any other guitar.  All pulls are tuned under the guitar at each bellcrank.  It's very easy to do; just feel underneath the guitar while you are activating a pedal/lever, and turn the screw (by hand) until tuned--   That's it.  Once tuned, these guitars hold their tune very well.  This guitar was made sometime in the mid 70's.  The guitar has a mica top and wraparound steel frame--no cabinet drop.  Pickup is the original, hand-wound single coil.  The guitar has been gone through, cleaned, and adjusted.  I installed newer-type return springs in place of the old ones (which required a wrench or nut driver to adjust).I'd always wanted to install effects in a guitar like Sneaky Pete had in his old Fender 400.  This Blanton was a good candidate, because there's plenty of room on either side of the neck for switches.  I used a Telecaster control blank and a Tele bass plate for the pots and switches.  Everything is wired correctly and the effects work as they should.  Everything is grounded to the guitar's frame, so there is no hum or buzz in the circuit.  The circuit boards are held to the inside front apron with heavy velcro.  A 9v power plug is located on the right-rear apron of the guitar.  There are 3 jacks on the right side of the guitar; the jack closest to the rear is a dry signal out directly from the pickup.  From there you can run into a "Matchbox" or some other impedance-matching gizmo to prevent signal loss.  The middle jack is the effects in, and the jack closest to the front is effects out.  You would then run from that jack to your volume pedal.  The two toggle switches are phaser and distortion on/bypass.  The knobs are for phaser rate, distortion level, and distortion gain. The guitar in in very good condition.  If you're not into the vintage water-slide pinup girl decal, she'll come right off with a spritz of water and a rag. Guitar comes with the original case which is in serviceable condition. Please message me with any concerns or questions before buying or making an offer. Thanks much!
