1913 Orpheum No. 2 Banjo-Mandolin with Original Case An incredible example of this ca. 1913 instrument! Built by Rettburg & Lange. Maple construction, very fancy black/white/red neck lamination/backstrapping, elaborate inlay on fretboard & faceplate, carved heel, 24 flat hooks, L-shoes, grooved tension hoop, cloud tailpiece, calfskin head, metal spin-on back. This instrument came to us in relatively good condition. We had our senior luthier (an expert in restoring these vintage banjo-family instruments) re-align and shim the neck for proper action, refit tailpiece lug, and do a general setup/adjustment. Now in Excellent condition!Original hard case in good shape is included. The bottom of the case has a metal band inscribed with the original owner's name and information, including "Razzmatazz Bango Club." Shipping by UPS Ground is FREE within the continental US.
