PAIR OF VERY RARE Blonder Tongue Audio Baton B-9 tube EQ's Pair of Blonder-Tongue Audio Baton B-9 Tube EQ.  Nine band graphic vintage tube EQ's.Totally gone thru by Steve Firlotte. SOLD AS A PAIR ONLY! VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY TO GET AN EXCELLENT PAIR OF SUCH EQ's.  Ben Tongue's the inventor said the following about the Baton: "It was the first 'no-inductor' graphic audio equalizer for hi-fi and broadcast use.  The unit uses six vacuum tubes and an audio band-pass filter circuit invented and patented by the late Ben H. Tongue. Nine one-octave bands are individually controlled.   Manufactured from about 1959 through 1961: Model B-9" Units Condition:  The Knobs are all original.  Everything is original except as noted. The unit powers up when plugged in and all lights inside turn on illuminating the face of the unit. All tubes test ok.  All nine frequency bands work.  Still, due to age should be serviced for best results.   In/out audio transformer mod to operate in 600 ohm balanced studio world.  All mods could be removed by buyer to make “stock.”   There are some small scratches here and there on the face but nothing out of the ordinary.  No rust.  This is a working unit, and sold “as is”.
