A third 25-pin D-Sub connector gives you eight channels of AES/EBU digital I/O. You can also configure this connector in a single-wide 192kHz format. You can switch between the AES I/O and optical ports that support eight channels of 44.1-48kHz ADAT, eight channels of 88.2-96kHz S/MUX, or two channels of up to 96kHz S/PDIF.
