Analog and AES - plus optical I/OThe Symphony 8x8 Analog I/O + 8x8 AES/Optical I/O Module adds a eight channels of analog inputs and outputs to your Apogee Symphony I/O on two 25-pin D-Sub connectors: one for input and one for output, each carrying eight balanced channels. A third 25-pin D-Sub connector gives you eight channels of AES/EBU digital I/O. You can also configure this connector in a single-wide 192kHz format. You can switch between the AES I/O and optical ports that support eight channels of 44.1-48kHz ADAT, eight channels of 88.2-96kHz S/MUX, or two channels of up to 96kHz S/PDIF. As if that's not enough, you also get two channels of S/PDIF coax I/O (up to 192kHz) on RCA. Blazing-fast Thunderbolt performanceApple's Thunderbolt connectivity has opened up a world of professional recording possibilities. Apogee's Symphony 64 | ThunderBridge is a 64-channel Thunderbolt connection for Apogee's Symphony I/O.
