It is a nice little player, maneuverable and a few intonation quirks. I've posted a youtube video of the horn - remember I'm a tuba player, so my high range suffers a bit in the recording :). False pedal tones are responsive but must be lipped down. This would make a great practice horn for a middle or high school student or for a band director on a budget.Serial: 337012 - the little research I've done suggested it's 1959-1960 and manufactured in the Fullerton, CA factory. The horn was overhauled and relacquered 5 years ago before I bought it. It has been well taken care of apart from a shelf collapsing - it took a few crease dings, all of which are pictured, not affecting play. Only synthetic Hetman valve oil and slide grease has been used since I bought it.Shipping will be the industry standard bubble-wrap, air pillow/peanut technique. I would be open to any preferences and you could even ship me a case if you want.
