You are bidding on a rare resonator manufactured in the 1930's /1940's by Charles Edward Brasher. Brasher was am important and enigmatic figure in the history of Canadian guitar. He was a Toronto inventor and musician. On october 27th 1934 Brasher patented his own resonating guitar (PAT 349662) featuring hand-built cones and coverplates in small numbers. It seem that he later partenaring with Arthur Hansel and The RS Williams Company to manufactured wood-bodied resonator guitars in the 1940's. The guitar offer in auction today has this patented number and name ( C Brasher) engraved in the biscuit. The walnut resonator guitar as you may see in the pictures still in very nice shape with an amazing patina. It has some normal wear for an old instrument but no crack. The guitar is sold as is, with a guitar case. I'm available to answer any question possible about the instrument. But It is a very nice instrument to put in any Canadian guitar collection. Good luck all bidders!
