Jonas Chickering started building pianos in 1823. Stool included. Will deliver, setup, and tune to A-440 pitch in your home. This piano has incredible sound. The action initially was a single escapement action; now it is a double escapement action. Very ornate and striking in appearance. It is doubtful you can find another vintage grand of this quality, appearance, touch, and sound. Truly it has turned out to be a masterpiece to last a lifetime.
