Up for auction a UNIQUE stunning artifact Albanian Lahute hand carved, the old man from who bought this, told us It took 25 days to carved it. The head of this lutte is carved in the shape of the head of a goat and the image of Scanderbeg near the spoon, at the back lute spoon is carved the Albanian Flag. The workmanship on this lutte is pretty spectacular.
Lahute /Lute is a one-string fiddle instrument in the lute family, tuned in fifths. A folk instrument of the Albanians. Lahute/Lute is kordofon musical instrument, It is among the oldest instruments and more primitive in Europe and Albania, it's origin is from illyricum (today Albania) . The body of a lute is mainly maple tree, mulberry, walnut and Verri. The head of lute in Albania mainly carved in the shape of the head of a goat eagle or horse. There are also lute who carved head helmet of Skanderbeg. Part of lute spoons covered with goat skin drawn, while its arch mainly be made by subsidiaries of cornel with horse tail hair. Even the tail of a lute (that someone calls the phone) worked pulling forty horse tail fiber. The sound produced by arc traversed tail lute while switching chords tail touching fingers of the other hand. in Albania with lute sing "Eposi i Kreshnikëve" belonging legendary epic. Even the most famous national epi Lahuta of Malcis Gjergj Fishta also sing with lute. (This is not a common item that you can find on stores) Please see photos for detail
