Up for sale is a NetworkSound Mamba Digital Snake 32x32 System, Includes 2 Rack Digital Snakes one for FOH (console) and One for Stage (band) , however no cables.
If you aren't familiar with Network Sound check them out online, I have used 6 of their systems and have never had any issues. We have since upgraded to a digital console that included a snake so we no longer need this system.
Very Simple Digital Snake system. FOH and Stage Boxes interconnected by 2x (failover) CAT5or6 cables, giving you a 32x32 digital snake
Here is the basic setup, pulled from manufacturers website.
Stage End:
-Place the Mamba 32 in x 32 out box at the stage.
-Use Db25 XLR F to connect to line inputs to input 1-32 (DB25 end)
-If you plan to connect Mic input then you need micpreamps (not included)
-Use 1-8 and 1-8 numbers on XLR F Db25 cable for correct numbering
-Connect power for Mamba box
-Connect CAT-5. You can have both or one cat-5. Install MC if need fiber
-Connect the DB25 - XLR M (32 ch) for returns from FoH (FoH to stage)
FoH End:
- Place the Mamba box (32 in x 32 out) near your mixer/board and connect power
- Connect the CAT-5(s) from Stage box or from MC if via Fiber
- Connect DB25 to TRS or XLR-M from Channel 1-32 outputs on FoH box to mixer
- If you have selection, pls select Line level input than mic inputs on your mix board
- Connect the DB25 to XLR F for returns (16 ch) to Mamba input 1-16
