who told me he has never seen another Pape grand piano in his 40 yrs of business.  I have seen at least 2 other Pape grand on the internet in the past 10 yrs. in England.  Never have I seen one in America.  Finished in Mahogany and serial # 6679, Will need restoration, the legs and lyra are off.  The lid and dustcover under the lid has a crack in the wood.  The keys are all present as is the music rack. I am not an expert on pianos, but decided to buy this instrument due to the rarity of it.  This is better than a barn find Cobra in the barn.  I justed moved and the piano was professionalwrapped up by the local piano mover. Sits on dollies for easy movement.  Kept in climate control storage.  I have a few photos I will post once I find them.  This will be a nice addition for 19th century French piano collection.Please look up Henri Pape for his contributions to the piano industry.  It is difficult to put a dollar figure on it since thses are not sold very often.  I have about $5,000 in it.  I am up to offers on trades for antiques cars, and or old signs.Call me at 727-519-3819 with what you may have to trade or questions.  Subject to local sale if price is met.
