This is a lovely mellow sounding piccolo which is almost as new as I've only played it a few times. I bought it hoping to play it more in orchestra but as I play other instruments, I just haven't the time and it's such a lovely instrument, it needs to be used and go to a good home and hence the lower price. The piccolo is based on the Yamaha 62 and then improved and custom made by Unison music, hence the unison logo.As a first wood piccolo, the Unison is a good instrument, and I have found it easy to play and it has with the same durable keywork as found on the Yamaha YPC-62. You eould need a good embochure - it's not for beginners. It also has a grenadilla-wood headjoint and body which gives it that nice mellow sound. I am posting from France as I am here on tour at the moment, so will charge £10 on top to cover the cost and will be sending it equivalent of Royal Mail (cronopost) recorded delivery. I will pack it very well (see my history and reviews).Even though I have hardly used it, I have just had it fully serviced with brand-new pads.Specifications
