Early 70s G&C pipes and the set is complete with original chanter and blowpipe. The drones are in good shape but would need to be stripped and finished as current finish is chipping off. Finish on blowpipe and chanter are in great condition. There are cracks in the ivory on the blowpipe stick and on one bass drone ferrule. Cracks are not all the way through and all the ornamentation on the pipes are solid and not loose. I tried to photo all the imperfections so you can get a good idea of what you are buying. This set sounds great and is very steady. I got good marks on solo competitions that I performed in. I have used this set for the last 6 years. There is a lot of ivory on this set. With the exception of the cracks and a very slight nick on a ring cap (was too small to see in pics) the set is ready to play. Comes with a hard case and a Scotian hide zip bag that is about 5 years old and has no leaks in it.
