Very nice, rare 6-string classical guitar made in Sâo Paulo by Del Vecchio in 1972. Hand signed labels by Irmãos Del Vecchio (Brothers Del Vecchio) were reserved for their high end instruments. It has a spruce top with Brazilian rosewood sides, back, and neck. The guitar was overhauled about a year ago by Brooklyn based luthier Matt Rubindell. The fingerboard was planed and flattened, brand new frets were installed, and a new bone nut and bridge saddle were made making a very nice sounding, responsive and comfortable set-up. The work cost around $500. Brand new oasis carbon trebles and sostenuto bass strings included. Overall pretty good condition, some scuffs and scratches and worn varnish here and there. Hard case included.
