Goodman Chain Drum
This is an excellent 24” Goodman chain drum bowl that was badly in need of restoration. The bowl was first stripped and re-lacquered with a light-resistant lacquer. A Ludwig 26” counter hoop was modified and a new 2600 Remo head acquired. A completely new roller chain tuning mechanism and two tuning keys were built, and the location of the roller chain was moved from the original location on top of the counter hoop to below it. A new wooden “quadrapod” stand and felted head protector were then for the drum. The drum, quadrapod stand, and head protector are now for sale at $2,000.
