Open to International Bidders!! This No Reserve auction, is for a vintage 1974 Camco three piece drum outfit.Sizes are; 14" deep x 24" wide bass drum ( serial # 795-A ), 16" deep x 16" wide floor tom ( serial # 1386 ), and a 10" deep x 14" wide ( serial # 1386 ). Take notice that the mounted tom and the floor tom have identical serial numbers. Shells are Jasper multi-ply all-maple construction. Even the reinforcing rings are multi-ply maple. Interiors are gorgeous satin maple.Exteriors are factory finished, hand-rubbed walnut lacquer, with genuine nitrocellulose clear lacquer on top. The pictures make these drums look lighter than they really are. All of the shells are significantly darker in natural light. The two tom-toms are in superb condition, and only the 14" mounted tom is showing any signs of handling wear and a number of light scratches on the back side. The bass drum is also beautifully preserved, but it has a number of light surface scratches on the sides. There are no chips or deep scratches, and the original factory bearing edges are beautifully preserved.The bass drum was originally a "virgin" shell, but a Rogers "Memriloc" single mounting bracket has been precision installed and it is perfectly aligned with the top of the drum. This drum originally came with Camco telescoping bass drum spurs, but those were removed and newer SONOR "Phonic" series bass drum spurs were precision installed.The bass drum is factory outfitted with twenty Camco "turret" lugs, two Camco bass drum hoops, twenty Camco bass drum T-rods & claws, and a Camco Los Angeles badge.The floor tom is factory outfitted with sixteen Camco "turret" lugs, two Camco steel, triple-flanged hoops, 16 Camco tension rods, and three Camco floor tom legs & brackets. This drum also has an L.A. Camco "cloud" badge.The mounted tom is also outfitted with sixteen Camco "turret" lugs, two camco steel triple-flanged hoops, 16 Camco tension rods, and a precision installed Rogers "Memriloc" single tom mounting bracket. This drum has an L.A. Camco "cloud" badge.All of the chrome plated fittings are brilliantly plated, and they are free from rusting or pitting.A Mint Rogers "Memriiloc" tom arm is included with this drum set.
