1964 Fender Precision Bass with Case 1964 Fender Precision Bass, in Candy Apple Red, with original no-logo case. "L" serial number. Pickups dated July 1964. Pot dates:64-38. Neck stamp dated 5OCT64C All original, including headstock decal, except for an unbelievably fine candy apple red restoration by J. Black (former Fender Custom Shop luthier and author of "The Fender Bass: An Illustrated History"), new correctly radiused fretboard & frets by Guitar Player magazine columnist and master luthier Dan Erlewine (Stewart-MacDonald), and replacement aged mint green pickguard. Weighs 8.6 pounds. Strung with La Bella flatwounds (052 to 110). Original finish on back of neck. With both chrome covers. Bridge cover has foam muting pad. The flat cloverleaf of the E-string tuner is slightly bent. May be picked up in northern NJ. Payment via PayPal or cash.
