Background:
Brand: Conn (Elkhart era)
Model: 88H
SN: N209xx
Slide Condition:
Excellent 9.9/10. The slide is super fast and smooth all throughout the positions. No wear on the inner stocking. The compression on this slide is top-notch and performs exactly as Conn intended: extremely tight with no leaks.
Valve Condition:
Air flows through the valve with very minimal resistance to create a nice open sound. No leaks, and awesome compression! These valves are legendary and has survived the test of time.
Finish Condition:
This horn looks like a closet queen. 100% original lacquer in near mint condition. The horn looks great in the pictures as well as in person. The only flaws require a magnifying glass to see as they are tiny. This horn does not show signs of repair to the bell. Please look at the pictures and ask questions if you have any. Pictures are of the actual instrument being sold.
Extras:
Comes with the original Conn case. Case does not have a musty smell and seems to have been well taken care of. All latches and hinges work as designed.
