This is a high end ST62-TX model with a lovely resonant Alder body and factory-fitted USA Fender Custom Shop manufactured Texas Special pickups. The burgundy mist paintwork looks wicked, its one of those colours that looks entirely different depending on the light that's on it and looks fantastic under stage lights too!It's in good condition and has been upgraded to USA made CTS pots and 5 way switch.The necks' straight, the frets are in excellent condition and the fretboard's a lovely slab of rosewood. The matching headstock looks very cool and the tone from those Texies is just beautiful.The Custom Shop overwind them for more defined midrange, and more punch and output. They sound great for blues and rock run flat out, but when you wind back the volume they clean up beautifully and take on that lovely crisp glassy tone that works so well. There's a reverse coil, reverse-wound middle pickup for noise cancellation and in my humble opinion these are the best pickups Fender have made since their original pre-1962 formvar wire models.Comes with a gigbagAUSTRALIA WIDE POST $70Also for sale on the usual buy / sell pages so if sold there this listing will end without notice
