This is one rare instrument! Absolutely stunning collector guitar from the 1930's Gretsch era. This instrument has been lovingly restored with neck reset and beautiful clear finish to highlight the phenomenal flame maple sides and back. Spruce top, ebony fret board, rosewood faced headstock with pearl inlay for Gretsch logo. Neck is in great shape with very little relief (neck has steel reinforcing bar). Action is (as measured from top of fret to bottom of string at 12th fret) .090 on low E string side and .080 on high E string side. Serial number stamped on top of head stock is 4646..Tone is very open and resonant. Top has one crack that has been professionally repaired. Comes with very cool original faux 'gator skin case!
