Item for auction is a Valeriano Bernal Flamenco Guitar in excellent condition. Bernal was a master luthier for 50 years from Algondonales, Spain, just above the Straight of Gibraltar. His guitars are highly coveted because he has since retired. This guitar is the third of three made in its class (Granada), making it exceptionally rare. Bernal is a well known luthier who uses top of the line woods that create incredible sound profiles (powerful and bright basses, vivid and crystal clear trebles.) Middle tension and distance between strings at saddle and fingerboard make performance easier and comfortable. If you are unfamiliar with Bernal I encourage you to visit his website and web search him, as there is much more to be said. Here are some specs of the guitar:Soundboard: solid Canadian or Honduran red cedarFingerboard: Ebony CarboneroFrets: AlpacaProfiles/Back: Rio RosewoodScale length: 660mm Finish: Lacquer Tuners: Mechanical tuners String height at the 12th fret: 3,0mm Saddle height: 9,5mm Nut width: 52mm Distance between 1st and 6th string at the nut: 44mm Distance between 1st and 6th string at the saddle: 58mm*Brand New Hannabach Nylon Strings***The guitar comes with the case featured in the pictures.****Compare prices elsewhere:lafalseta (dot) com/Bernal_flamencos.html valerianobernal (dot) es/ing/flamenco.htmlI used this guitar primarily as a concert guitar so it is in good condition with only some signs of very slight cosmetic wear. Many guitarists find this guitar the best they have played in and above its price range. This guitar has been very dear to me and I trust it will be to you. Please message me with any questions about the listing. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
