Oud is brand new. It was handcrafted by Saadettin Sandi & Bahadir Sandi. We are very well known luthiers in Turkey. We exporting our products to whole world since 40 years. Please check our website cankayamuzikevi com to get more information.It is a special oud selected by us and dried in special conditions since 10 years. We take very good feedbacks about these ouds. We made it in 2006. It was kept in special rooms with a suitable temperature and humidity ratio. Woods becomes dry slowly and that affects sound very positive. We tune them every month and therefore oud is under pressure of strings since 10 years. This make sound deep and loud. Also a very good soft tone that is most wanted by professional players. Older ouds always have better sound and resonance then new ouds because woods loose the water and humidity by the time. Oud is brand new and never used. Body is composed of Mahogany and Walnut. Fingerboard and pegs are ebony. Sound board is high quality Canadian Spruce. Rosettes have been carved from soundboard. They are spruce as well.
Shipment will be done via Turkish Standard Postal Service. Delivery time varies between 20 to 30 days. We can't know the customs process in your area. All possible customs taxes will be paid by the buyer. Most of our customers don't pay any tax at customs. But sometimes some of them pay. Every country has different restrictions. Ad includes the hard case seen in the pictures. It is fiberglas and handcrafted by us. Very strong and not too heavy. It is very safe for shipping.
