Gorgeous, very clean 1930's rare seven string Rickenbacher Model B Electro Lap Steel Guitar with original hard shell case. Excellent working order. Recently had new strings installed and tuned, ready for you to play! This Rickenbacher has beautiful chrome platings, jack on base side, controls on both sides, and an extra molded hole from the factory for a future knob. Original tuning knob has come off in pieces due to age but is included. My great great uncle who was the original purchaser was an electric guitar and ukulele instructor. This guitar set the stage for all solid body guitars to follow. The pre WWII lap steel Rickenbachers are antique collectables. This is a rare seven string Bakelite Rickenbacher lap steel guitar. You will see a lot of six and eight string models but I personally have never seen another seven string. A variation of the Bakelite Spanish invented by Doc Kauffman who would later become Leo Fenders first partner, this is an extremely rare piece that would be a great addition to any collection!
