The FH483 features a yellow brass bell and body with a nickel silver leadpipe and tuning slide for added strength and durability. The FH483 is made with an industry standard . 468-inch bore that can be appreciated by both beginners and advanced players alike. It features a nickel silver leadpipe and tuning slide for better resistance against corrosion damage at these key areas. In addition, the horn's tuning can be transformed from F to a Bb horn by depressing the rotor, which is a feature not often found in a student-model horn. The inclusion of the double piping and rotor gives the Jean Baptiste FH483 French Horn a range you just won't see in other French horns at this price point, not to mention a tone that will make any educator smile.
