Here we have my prized set of Tom Holmes Humbuckers H455 and H450 Set. These are the USA pickups. Nickel Covers.(never been off) Braided 2 conductor leads. Lots of lead left. The leads have a black plastic covering over them so they don't make any noise on the inside of the guitar. These came out of my ES-335. (hence the plastic covers over the leads). They just slide off if you want to remove them. The guitar has been sold so now its time for these to go. These pickups were installed new into this guitar. They sound wonderful! Some consider Tom's pickups to be the holy grail of PAF's. I would have to agree. The covers have a nice patina going on. Can still be buffed out if you prefer the shiny nickel look. But they are really starting to look vintage. I really do hate to part with this. They will really make any Les Paul or 335 come alive. Priced to sell.
