This sale is for a 1999 Taylor 614ce Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic/Electric Guitar with its Original Hardshell Case.This guitar plays like a dream, sounds absolutely amazing, and is in awesome and cared-for condition. This is the most beautiful and best sounding acoustic guitar that I ever had. The Taylor 614ce produces rich tone thanks to its carefully selected tone woods. The 614ce guitar's big leaf maple and Sitka spruce create bright, crystalline timbre with outstanding projection and warm overtones. The Taylor 614ce guitar's bright sound is further enriched by the Venetian cutaway Grand Auditorium body. The guitar's sleek form yields strong treble zing across the tonal spectrum and sharpens the definition of each individual role. The 614ce is great for fingerpicking and also adapts well to medium strumming. The Taylor 614ce appointments include an ebony headstock overlay, a beautiful abalone rosette, white binding, and artful abalone fretboard inlays. This Taylor included the original Fishman Prefix Preamp Blender that most stage musicians strongly prefer over the muddier sound of the newer expression system.
This guitar is in great condition for it's age. The playability and electronics are in factory condition (professionally setup). The case has some wear on it.
