This was a special order 6 x 14 solid maple shell Craviotto in black satin. It has some features that came with the "unlimited" edition, and some upgrades that didn't come standard. These include: "tight screw" tension rods, S-Hoops on top and bottom, Fat Cat Snare Wires, and a Dunnett R-30 Throw-off. The drum is in excellent condition. There are no dings or scratches. I will admit that when I got the snare, I didn't dig the S-Hoops or the "tight screw" rods. However, I have come to love the S-Hoops and I'm now going to be buying them for other drums I own. The "tight screw" system does mean that you have to put a little more muscle into the cranking but the good news is that it gets in tune and stays in tune. However, you can easily switch them out if you prefer. I am also including a padded Craviotto case for the snare.I also have this drum for sale on Craigslist and Reverb so hurry if you want this great drum!This is a great drum and looks great with the DW Jazz Series drums I have for sale.
