Case: Original Gibson Hardshell CaseThis is a Gibson Les Paul Studio Gothic electric guitar. I purchased this new in 2001, and I've played it for maybe 10 hours total. There are no scratches. There is no buckle wear. This really is a like-new guitar. The pickups are wound pretty hot, so it can really rock - a metal axe to be sure. Solid mahogany body with a maple top for excellent sustain. The neck is solid mahogany with an ebony fingerboard with a moon and star inlay at the 12th fret. Gibson 490R and 498T have a real heavy tone. Nashville Tuneomatic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece for dependable performance. The Grover Rotomatic tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is flat black satin matte and set off by black hardware. This is not one of the cheaper, newer models like the "Morte" or "Menace" remakes. This is the original real deal Gothic. Why am I selling it? I have kids and live in a quiet neighborhood. Sadly, this means no one wants to hear this guitar cranked up to even a 6 on my Fender Twin. That, and I just blew a ton of money on a new mountain bike, so my wife is pissed.
