This is a superb sounding Ramirez 1A. If you like the big, bold and sophisticated Ramirez sound, then this 1a will not disappoint. I took pics with the strings off so you can see the fretboard and finish more clearly. Frets are perfect -I am about to restring it and polish the fretboard and body.
I have had a number of Ramirez 1a and 2a guitars over the years and this is an exceptionally nice sounding one.. Underneath the soundboard it is stamped with the number 1 which means it was built by Miguel Malo the head builder at Ramirez in 1977.Back and sides are extra dark AAA grade Indian Rosewood and the top is cedar. Visually stunning.The neck plays perfectly. Comes with the very clean - original hard case.
